Dumistansya ang Malacañang sa mga naglalabasang "full-page ads" sa mga pahayagan at mga "text blasts" laban kay Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Sa nasabing mga ads, nakalagay dito ang mga merito ng kaso at kung bakit dapat mapatalsik si Corona sa puwesto.

Sinabi ngayon ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda, hindi kabahagi ang Malacañang sa nasabing propaganda na ginagawa ng Akbayan at Black and White Movement.

Pero ayon kay Lacierda, walang masama sa mga anti-Corona ads dahil nagbibigay lamang ng mahahalagang impormasyon sa taongbayan.

Ang nakalabas umanong impormasyon ay bahagi lamang ng mga nabulgar sa impeachment trial.

Kumbinsido rin ang Palasyo na hindi senyales ng pagiging desperado ng porsekusyon ang text brigade na pinapakalat laban sa punong mahistrado.

"Number one, no the Palace is not involved there. In fact, I saw the advertisement in Inquirer only today. So if you look at the ads, I think they were just informational. They have not spoken of anything other than what were uncovered during the impeachment and it is really to inform the public. Removing all technicalities, all arguments, this is what we have uncovered so far and I think this is informing the public to be engaged and to know what’s going on in the impeachment trial," ani Lacierda.
