Walang duda ang mga boxing greats na sina Roy Jones, Jr. at Sergio Martinez sa tapang at galing ni super bantamweight star na si Nonito Donaire, Jr. para maiuwi ang titulo sa laban nila ni Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

Sa isang panayam, puro papuri kay Donaire ang namutawi sa bibig ni Jones.

"My opinion is that he is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters out there right now. I love watching him moreso than watching most of the other fighters rignt now, because he's exciting, he's explosive with both hands, he's a great all-around fighter, and I love watching him in action," ayon sa former heavyweight champion.

Para naman sa lineal middleweight champion of the world na si Martinez, nagpahayag din ito ng kumpiyansa na galing ng Pinoy boxer.

Ayon pa kay Martinez, hindi rin umano malayong magiging No. 1 fighter ng sports si Donaire.

“I don’t have any doubt about that, that Nonito Donaire, even before I retire, Donaire is going to be the best, pound for pound,” ani Martinez.
