Beginnings: Michelle G. Adolfo (a.k.a Mikee) took up
and finished a BA in Communication Arts degree at the
University of the Philippines in the Visayas Tacloban
College. She formally entered the radio business on the
year 2000, and has been connected to four radio
stations as to date.

Michelle lands her dream job as a disc jockey, with
passion to the job as Shakespeare to his literature. Over
the years, she persists… and every time, in her
programs, then and now, she spells "stand-out" in bold
letters.

Radio history: Michelle's time in the radio has one too
many dramatic highlights and climaxes, she could sell
her story to a daytime soap and retire on the royalties
(pag sure oi!!!… ngeK! Never mind that part.. ha ha!!!)

Michelle initially defined her passion with DYXV Magik
FM when she was hired June 2000 to September 2001.
Her job description included being a newscaster for the
top-of-the hour news and a script writer, as well as host
for the Weekend Top 20 Countdown. She then made a
career move and transfered to DYTM Love Radio
Tacloban where she encountered both pressure and
pleasure combined, considering being in the front line of
a highly-competitive station in the locality. She has
spent three productive years with the company.

Later on, Michelle makes an absence in the radio as
she had to go back to school to finish her remaining
courses. When she graduated, she ventured into a
different profession but found no glory as she has found
with her years as a disc jockey. On January 2006, she
joins the production staff of DYXY Ifm Tacloban.

Towards the end of 2006, Michelle had the perfect break
with DYTX Star FM Tacloban. This opportunity to work
for Star FM Tacloban, twice given to her, must've been
meant to be hers. She had to resign on January 2007
because of an opportunity to work abroad. But after
deciding to cut short her contract from 6 months to 3
months as a band vocalist in a bar in Okinawa, Japan,
she goes home to Tacloban finding the same vacancy
she emptied at Star FM still available,

A returnee to Star FM Tacloban by July 13, 2007, she
fulfills her job with enthusiasm, and consistently comes
up with bigger ideas on a daily basis to keep her
listeners attention, and maintain a competitive standing.

Michelle's major tasks in Star FM Tacloban includes:
writing scripts for special programs, and writing the TOH
News and Network News in the absence of the news
writer/news director.

Claim to fame: Michelle maintains a distinguishable
presentation on air from day to day-marked with poise
and quick wit. A "Michelle adlib" is always a signature
of a daring attitude that do not compromise intellect and
timing.

Versatility spells radio programs with a number of
audience that is growing by the day - across ages and
gender, or social status. This girl knows how to play it. If
it takes a little drama, hyperbolizing… or maybe then
getting malicious (he he.. garaon!), she's gonna buy it.
And she gets away with it.

'" The radio poses a challenge: it has standards but is
nevertheless a fad. The men and women in the FM radio
scene are competing perpetually… I'm not scared of it, I
enjoy it!"

Her programs today: " It's All For you in the Morning,
and It's All For You in the Afternoon
" Superstar Sunday and Sunday Night Sweep
- She handles these programs regularly, but also
handles Sweep Programs during changes of schedule.
