Beginnings: Jack Brown left the classroom in mid 2005
where he used to teach kids and decided to try his luck
with the radio and six months after, he became a part of
Star FM Dipolog.

Nervous is an understatement in describing how he felt
the first time he opened the microphone. It was like that
for the next 3 months or more. He admitted to having
sweaty hands every time he opens the mic for his adlibs
but eventually, he learned to just go with the flow, be
himself, and treat the mic as his best friend. Fast
forward to two years after: he says he is just romancing
the microphone.

Claim to Fame: He defies the classic adage for radio
jocks: "Better heard than seen…"

His programs today include: Morning Starweep (6 - 9
am on Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays), Starmusikainan
(11 am - 1 pm) & Afternoon Starsweep (3 pm - 5 pm) on
Tuesdays & Thursdays and It's All For You (1 - 3 pm) on
Mondays & Saturdays
