Hentjie Badilles
Beginnings: He started his radio career by mistake for
he was not the one applying for a slot at a local radio
station but his seminarian classmate. During the
audition he came along with his seminarian brother who
applied for a disc jockey position in a religious radio
station in Cotabato City. Accidentally by mistaken
identity, his name was called up to enter the production
room and to cap it all he was hired over his classmate.

Radio History: From a religous station, he joined the
well-known overall number radio station in Cotabato by
curiousity. With his hyper style of Disc Jockeying he
was chosen to handle the Morning Starsweep program
of Star FM Cotabato. He loved every minute of it. He is
also known as "Col. Gringo" in Cotabato City and a
short stint in a frontline management assignment at Star
FM Zamboanga.

Claim to Fame: Thousands of texter's aside from
callers flocks Colonel Gringo in the area of Cotabato
City, its a mission accomplished by enthusiasm and
dedication in his duty that made him a household name
according to the latest National Radio Survey (NRS)
result that states that Star FM Cotabato is the leader of
the pack amongst other radio station in South Central
Mindanao and Cotabato City.

His programs today include: "Colonel Gringo in
Action" Morning Starsweep 6:00-9:00 am and Star
